This Asian restaurant offers a 360-degree view of Dallas at 560 feet in the air making for an especially romantic dinner. Shop, snack, and hang out at the Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is a wonderful place for a low-key evening date. Shop around the stalls at The Shed, an outdoor pavilion where you can admire local goods and produce, which can be a great conversation starter. Then head indoors to the Market Shops. You can shop in the boutiques and then grab a drink and a bite to eat at one of the food stalls. The Farmer’s Market closes at 7 or 8 p.m., making it a great option for those going on a first date. If you want to hang out afterwards, head to Deep Ellum and find a bar like Dot’s Hop House to hang out and continue talking.

Late night fun at the museums

Dallas has a great museum scene with a variety of evening programs that make for a wonderful date. Till Midnight at the Nasher is a free summer series on Friday evenings. Couples can explore the sculpture-centered museum for free and then enjoy food trucks, drinks, live music, and a movie on the lawn. The Dallas Museum of Art’s Late Nights are available on the third Friday of every month. At $10 per ticket, couples can explore the museum and enjoy a variety of entertainment like live music, readings, and screenings until midnight. Finally, check out the Social Science nights at the Perot Museum. This adults-only date offers couples a chance to explore the hands-on science exhibits, watch live performances, and engage in fun experiments with a drink in hand.

Wine tasting at Checkered Past Winery

Want to explore a new area? Head to Checkered Past Winery in the Cedars for a wine tasting and live music on the weekends. Explore assorted brands of wine and order a pizza to share. If you finish early, there’s plenty more to do in the area. Walk across the street to the NYLO South Side and take the elevator to the rooftop patio which has a pool, bar, and splendid views of downtown Dallas. Or walk down to the Alamo Drafthouse and catch a late screening of the newest film while enjoying a snack or drink from their full restaurant and bar all from the comfort of your seat.
