Baguette
Bakery, Deli, French, Dessert
Known for – surprise, surprise – its baguettes, this bakery is renowned for superior soft, fresh bread. Its beloved sandwiches are stuffed full of fresh gourmet ingredients imported from all over the world. Thanh Tam
Bakery, Dessert, Vietnamese, American
This ‘bakery with a purpose’ is an oasis of calm in the ever-expanding hub of Danang. Its French colonial architecture and botanic decor is a delight to behold, housing some sensational handmade baked goods. The bakery uses organic and home-grown ingredients wherever possible, and strives to reduce plastic waste through bamboo straws and paper bags. Located next door to a Catholic school, Thanh Tam is a social enterprise which provides vocational training for disabled students in customer service and kitchen environments. In a country with relatively few opportunities for disabled people, Thanh Tam is really doing some good.

BonPas is a popular bakery chain in Danang offering both French and Vietnamese-style treats. It’s a favourite among the city’s student population who appreciate its colourful drinks and Instagram-friendly interior. Cake Crush
Bakery, Dessert
If you’re looking to surprise a loved one on their birthday, look no further than Cake Crush. This twee little bakery specialises in amazing iced creations, designed to make each occasion sparkle. Dong Tien
Bakery, Dessert, Vietnamese
Despite its deceptively plain interior, Dong Tien bakery offers some truly decadent treats – the cake display is a marbled, latticed feast for the eyes. If you’re after something a touch more modest, their cinnamon rolls are the perfect sweet treat at any hour of the day and the banh mi does not disappoint. Service is fast and friendly and prices are very reasonable.
Tiem Banh Mia Cake
Bakery, Dessert
Tiem Banh Mia Cake specialises in occasion cakes and is also famous for sensational tiramisu. Four-tiered cupcake towers, sailboat-shaped masterpieces and heart-shaped photo cakes for your special someone are all on offer.
Tiem Banh Gochipan
