Napa Valley is almost as spoiled for boutique hotels as it is for wineries, with great resorts, lodges and hacienda-style establishments dotted throughout its verdant Californian slopes. In Napa itself you’ve a chic hotel with a rooftop bar right in downtown and a Tuscan villa-style resort on its own vineyard, while further up the valley there are great places to stay in smaller towns. Here’s our guide to hotels in Yountville, Rutherford, Calistoga and beyond.

Charlie Palmer Steak and Sky is the hotel’s other dining venue, serving artisanal American beef alongside excellent seafood, chops, chicken and vegetarian options.
