You’ll find this popular hotel in the historic Old San Juan area. The Sheraton’s architecture provides a notable contrast to the traditional Spanish buildings surrounding it. When this building was originally built in 1651 it was the Carmelite Convent. It changed purpose a few times, but eventually was restored and opened its doors as a hotel in 1962. The hotel is still one of the most beautiful places to stay in San Juan to this day.
