Looking for the largest spa in the city? You’ve found it in this smart, centrally located hotel. The wellness centre – with saunas, an indoor pool and experience showers – may be a highlight, but the hotel also has spectacular views from the only rooftop bar in town. Drink them in with a cocktail in hand, or head downstairs to Terrace Fontana for homemade cakes and casual dining. The 180 guest rooms include accessible and pet-friendly options.

Outside, grand arches and colonnades adorn the white facade, while inside you’ll find marble floors, spiral staircases and chandeliers. Right in the midst of things at the Capital Plaza, this hotel is a great choice for business and leisure travellers alike. As well as a whole host of meeting spaces including one with a grand piano, it has a spa, fitness centre and multiple dining options. Head to the low-lit Living Room restaurant for quality cocktails and buffalo chicken. The penthouse suite features the biggest outdoor terrace in the capital.

With cool, graffiti-style walls, there’s a Munich vibe to the beerhouse, which sells plenty of draft beer and hot sausages.
