First opening its doors in 1974, Abe’s Grill is in the prestigious position of being the oldest diner on Route 72. It is still run by its original owners who have kept the quality of the food and the service at a consistently high standard throughout the restaurant’s history. Diners regularly make the trek out of town to get a taste of the mid-South’s favorite homemade biscuit as well as other staples such as their famous country breakfast and their old fashioned burgers, made with 100% pure beef that is ground fresh daily. Visitors traveling along the Civil War trail may also find themselves being drawn to Abe’s, with the restaurant being located on the site of a Corona College, an original Civil War landmark.

Simple, tasty Southern home cooking in an atmosphere that reflects its food. This downtown restaurant offers up a menu that changes daily, written by hand on a board each day. A typical dish at Cindy’s Place includes country fried steak, fried chicken, livers, dumplings, home-cooked gravy and Southern style sides such as corn and fried green tomatoes. There are usually four desserts on offer which are worth saving room for, particularly the pies and butter roll dessert. The inside is quite small but still manages to pack a lot of people in comfortably.

Dilworth's Tamales

Dilworth’s Tamales has long since earned its stripes as Corinth’s go-to restaurant for great tamales. The restaurant has been a staple in Corinth’s community since 1962. While it no longer serves its tamales from a street cart or ties the ends with string, diners are still treated to the same taste as those original tamales from over 50 years ago. It is renowned in the wider area and has featured in national publications such as Southern Living. For the most authentic taste, try the spicy tamales (if you can handle it). For those with a weaker tongue, there is the option of mild tamales, with both spicy and mild featuring the delicious combination of beef and secret spices. Nothing beats a classic.

Juju's Shrimpboat Cafe

Located on the site of the old Byrds Dixie Queen Diner, it was remodelled and reopened several years ago after a 9 year hiatus following the birth of their daughter and has quickly managed to regain its reputation as Corinth’s premier seafood destination. Fresh seafood is the order of the day at Juju’s Shrimpboat Cafe with popular menu items including jumbo shrimp, po’ boys, gumbo, crab claws, catfish and fried alligator.

For pizza in downtown Corinth, you would be a fool to bypass Pizza Grocery. There is, as you would expect, pizza and calzone offerings aplenty as well as the option to create your own. The building was originally built in the 1920s for Acorn Wholesale and continued to serve as a grocers until the 1980s, before being bought up and converted to a restaurant by the current owners in 2002. .

Russell's Beef House

For those feeling a bit healthier, their salad bar is also award-winning. The building was first erected in 1957 and has always been operated as a restaurant, being locally dubbed ‘Dairyland’ throughout most of the 1970s.
