The Top Eats & Restaurants in Nadi, Fiji
Nadi is the first destination most travellers fly into in Fiji – making it a hub for a variety of international cuisine as well as local dishes. From casual and contemporary beachfront meals to fine dining with exquisite dishes, Nadi offers a platter of different and mouthwatering dishes and dining styles to suit all tastes.
Ports O' Call
Restaurant, Oceanian, French, European, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free
Ports O’ Call is one of Fiji’s few fine dining experiences, decorated to resemble a luxury cruise liner. Located within the Sheraton Fiji Resort in Denarau, the dress code calls for formal attire, unlike most of Fiji’s more relaxed, island-influenced establishments. Children over the age of 12 are allowed to dine but are expected to pay full fare. The Lai Lai Kids club will look after up to two children between 6-8.30pm.
Maravu
Restaurant, Asian
Maravu offers a relaxed but classy beachfront dining vibe with pan-Asian cuisine. Enjoy the expansive views out to sea while enjoying a leisurely lunch or dinner with specialty Asian dishes, presented in an island setting. Dine inside or outside and witness the nightly Fijian torch lighting ceremony when darkness falls.
Taste Fiji
Cafe, Contemporary, Oceanian, Fusion, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free
Taste Fiji has a key goal of showcasing local produce. The ethos is about promoting everything Fijian – from using as many local ingredients as possible in their dishes, to employing and training local people to run the café. Taste has a set menu for breakfast and lunch but is also famous for its sweet treats, pastries and exquisite cakes.
Mamasake
Restaurant, Japanese
If you’re looking for exquisite and unique sushi platters, then look no further than Mamasake. Designed to be a place for social gatherings as much as a place for good food, Mamasake showcases fish dishes as well as meat and has a variety of different Asian influences on its sushi rolls and sashimi. Most dishes are produced with only locally-sourced rice and produce, fish is sourced sustainably and the meat used is hormone free.
Habibi
Restaurant, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean
Habibi combines Tunisian and French cuisine into a Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurant, with real Arab shisha. It’s a cosy and relaxed place to dine in an intimate setting, snuggled among trees, shrubbery and flowers. Lounge areas are available for larger groups who wish to share their food or shisha on low couches and cushions.
Mama's Pizza
Pizzeria, Italian
Mama’s Pizza is an iconic pizza place in Fiji with some of the thickest and densest toppings you’ll ever come across. There are three locations in Nadi – Nadi Town, Denarau and Namaka. Choose the Namaka outlet for the cheapest deals. The pizza toppings are generous and so are the sizes – one large pizza will send a handful of people off into a state of cheesy bliss. Chillies are optional on every pizza.
Chantara
Restaurant, Thai, Asian, Vegetarian, Vegan
Located at the Raddison Blue Resort in Denarau, Chantara offers a modern take on Thai cuisine. The name literally translates to ‘moon water’ in Thai. The restaurant sits on the lobby level of the resort and spills out onto the deck, with views out to the resort’s waterfall feature and beautifully landscaped gardens. An à la carte breakfast is on offer to start the day, with Pan-Asian cuisine at lunch and a specialty Thai menu for dinner, with modern twists on traditional Thai classics.
