This Countryside Retreat Is Just 18 Miles From the Eiffel Tower
Families looking to swap television for trekking will love the new nature discovery concept from Center Parcs, only minutes from the French capital.
Center Parcs is inviting families to share their holidays with artists, farmers, craftspeople, survival experts and the great outdoors at Villages Nature® Paris. Set in hundreds of acres of forest, the holiday park is perfect for young explorers and only four miles from Disneyland® Paris and 18 miles from the Eiffel Tower.
There are five recreational worlds to choose from including: Aqualagon – think jacuzzis, outdoor heated lagoons and water slides; BelleVie Farm, a working estate used for growing crops and rearing animals; and Forest of Legends, where children can learn bushcraft and explore treetop playgrounds.
Guests can learn the art of botany in the Extraordinary Gardens and watch evening concerts at the Lakeside Promenade as the sun set against the backdrop of the wetlands. There are self-service cottages scattered throughout the park with three categories to choose from: Clan Comfort (sleeps 4–6), Country Premium (sleeps 2–8) and Cocoon VIP (sleeps 2–12).
The cottages have been designed to blend into their environment; many of them have their own verandas and wild flower gardens. Inside they’re fitted with the latest mod-cons, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for guests during their stay.
However, guests won’t want to spend too long cooped up indoors, not with the plethora of activities on their doorstep, including: treasure hunts, being a farmhand for a day, rock climbing, beach games, segway tours and tree trails. Guests can also organise day trips into Paris and guided tours of Notre-Dame cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe, two of the city’s most iconic structures.
With seven on-site restaurants including Chez Meunier Bakery and Vapiano (where delicious pasta and pizza is cooked in front of you) guests will also be perfectly happy spending all their time at Villages Nature Paris or choosing to halve their holiday between city break and relaxing in acres of wilderness.
A stay at Villages Nature Paris starts from £535 (2 guests for 3 nights in a Country Premium apartment) up to £2040 (12 guests for 3 nights in a Cocoon VIP cottage). For more information and to book your stay, visit www.villagesnature.co.uk.
KEEN TO EXPLORE THE WORLD?
Connect with like-minded people on our premium trips curated by local insiders and with care for the world
Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.
Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.
Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.
Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
