This Cruise Visits 30 Countries and 56 UNESCO Sites
A newly launched luxury cruise offers passengers an around-the-world experience, sailing them to six continents, 30 countries and an unprecedented 56 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The ‘Navigate the World’ cruise is not for those with limited time to spare. Once you’re welcomed aboard the Regent Seven Seas Cruises’s Seven Seas Mariner – where every guest is treated to a spacious suite with a balcony – you’ll be floating through life for the next 117 days, with opportunities to take in cultural landmarks almost every day.
Sailing what Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) have called “the long way” from Miami to Barcelona, you’ll hit six continents and anchor at 61 ports – everywhere from Auckland to Monte Carlo. Starting in the crystal waters of the Caribbean, you’ll then cross the Panama Canal before visiting the first UNESCO site of the trip, the ancient city of Chan Chan in Peru. All 324 onshore excursions are free of charge, including the 56 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The cruise also offers the opportunity to visit the remote Easter Island, where a meal will be served accompanied by traditional performances. The itinerary also includes a glamorous outdoor soiree in the desert of Aqaba, Jordan and a poignant historical tour of Boggo Road, a former prison known as ‘the Alcatraz of Queensland’ where British convicts were held.
For travellers wishing to stay on dry land for a bit longer, there are extended off-ship excursions available for an added cost. On these mini-trips (which include visits to Cuzco and Machu Picchu in Peru, the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Luxor and the Pyramids in Egypt), passengers will disembark the ship for 1-3 nights at a time, enjoying expert guided tours of the area.
Prices for the cruise start from £46,839 (approximately $59,000), and while that is no small sum, the experience is truly all-inclusive. You’ll even be gifted first-class airfare to Miami and business-class airfare back home from Barcelona (if you fly out of an RSSC-selected airport).
The ships casts off from Miami on 5 January 2021.
KEEN TO EXPLORE THE WORLD?
Connect with like-minded people on our premium trips curated by local insiders and with care for the world
Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.
Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.
Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.
Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
