Wine, wildlife and an epic road trip in South Africa
South Africa’s 300km (186mi) Garden Route is one of the world’s best road trips. Where else can you find wild, windswept coastal views, sample world-class wines among the vines that produced them and spot Africa’s A-list wildlife all in one place? You’ll get to experience it all on this 11-day tour, starting in Cape Town with a hike up Table Mountain to get a lay of the land. From here, you’ll be hitting the road to Knysna, stopping en route to sip award-winning wines in Stellenbosch, before exploring the luscious flora and fynbos of Tsitsikamma National Park and eventually reaching Gondwana Game Reserve. That’s where we’ll be spending two nights living the life of luxury at a gorgeous safari lodge, equipped with a bush spa and infinity pool (often occupied by elephants). You’ll get to go on up to four game drives in search of the Big Five, as well as having plenty of free time to enjoy the many activities and facilities available across the majestic wilderness reserve.

The ultimate safari experience in Kenya
Kenya’s rich savannah and epic Mount Kilimanjaro backdrop make it the quintessential African safari destination. This eight-day small-group tour combines three of its most wildlife-rich regions to ensure you won’t miss a single spot or stripe. You’ll start in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, from where you’ll be whisked off to Aberdare National Park – one of the smallest, but most wildlife-dense areas in Kenya – to spot black rhino (it’s also one of the few remaining sanctuaries for the species), elephants and leopards. Next is Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousand of pink flamingos wading through the shallow waters. On day five, it’s on to Maasai Mara National Reserve to spend one day at a rural village to learn about the Maasai way of life, and another to complete your Big Five tick list by spotting lions and Cape buffalo on a safari day. Book in season and you might even be treated to the epic migration of the wildebeest.
