If you’re a fan of live music, pub grub, and a funky, laid-back atmosphere, Blue Canoe is the place for you. They have a selection of over 100 beers, 35 of which are on tap daily. Large numbers of patrons are drawn in from around the area for the live music, and it proudly declares itself as being ‘Tupelo’s home of original live music.’

One of the finest barbecue restaurants in the city, Bar-B-Q by Jim prides itself on 20 years of experience in the barbecue game, serving the best cuts of meat seasoned and cooked to perfection. For pulled pork, they only use the “Boston butt”, the front shoulder, and ribs are done St Louis style, where the meat is thick and well-marbled.
Johnnie’s Drive In

Established in 1945, Johnnie’s Drive In remains one of the most popular restaurants and barbecue joints in Tupelo. Tourists are drawn in as part of the Elvis tour, and Elvis’ original booth is still in use, as well as a plethora of memorabilia dotted around the walls. There is even a picture of Elvis sitting at the booth on the wall.

The large, wooden bar is the focal point of the restaurant, but the rooftop terrace with an attractive view of Main Street also helps to make it one of Tupelo’s popular night spots.

Woody’s Tupelo Steakhouse
To claim to be Tupelo’s favorite steakhouse is quite a bold statement, yet, Woody’s Tupelo Steakhouse has the goods to back this up. It is the only certified Angus steakhouse in the city and has a three diamond rating from AAA. The menu has an extensive variety of Mississippi favorites and the interior has an understated refinement to it.
